Refund and Cancellation Policy for Cathance Mobile Homes Effective Date: August 4, 2025
This policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds for purchases of mobile homes and related services from Cathance Mobile Homes. We aim for transparency and fairness, recognizing the unique nature of our products.
1. Order Cancellations Customers may request to cancel an order under the following conditions:
Within 48 Hours of Reservation: A full refund of the reservation fee and any initial down payment will be issued if the cancellation request is received within 48 hours of placing your order, provided the home has not yet commenced its delivery or preparation process.
After 48 Hours, Before Delivery/Setup: If a cancellation request is received after 48 hours but before the mobile home has been delivered to your site, the reservation fee may be non-refundable. Any additional down payments made will be refunded, less any verifiable costs incurred by Cathance Mobile Homes related to your specific order (e.g., permits, pre-delivery preparations, or administrative fees).
After Delivery/Setup: Orders generally cannot be cancelled once the mobile home has been delivered to your site and/or setup has commenced, unless due to a verifiable significant defect present at the time of delivery that renders the home uninhabitable or significantly different from the agreed-upon specifications.

2. Returns Given the nature, size, and installation requirements of mobile homes, Cathance Mobile Homes does not accept returns of mobile homes once they have been delivered to the customer’s site.
Exceptions to this policy are limited to:
Significant, Verifiable Manufacturing Defects: If a mobile home is found to have a significant manufacturing defect that impacts its structural integrity or habitability upon initial inspection at delivery, and this defect was not disclosed prior to purchase, we will work with you to repair the defect under warranty or replace the unit if necessary, as per manufacturer terms and conditions.
Incorrect Product Delivery: If the incorrect model or specifications (e.g., number of bedrooms/bathrooms) are delivered compared to your confirmed order, we will arrange for the correct unit or remediation.
3. Refunds Refunds, when applicable, will be processed as follows:
Approved refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used for the purchase.
We do not issue cash refunds.
Any refunds due to defects will be handled in accordance with manufacturer warranties and applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Non-Refundable Items & Situations The following are generally non-refundable:
Reservation fees (after 48 hours of order placement or once preparation/delivery has commenced).
Costs incurred by Cathance Mobile Homes due to customer-initiated cancellations (as per Section 1).
Mobile homes delivered to the customer’s site and accepted, unless a significant, verifiable defect or incorrect delivery applies (as per Section 2).
Damage to the product occurring after delivery due to misuse, accident, neglect, or improper maintenance by the customer.
Customized or special-order products, once production has begun.
Site preparation costs, utility connection costs, or any other third-party services arranged by the customer.
5. Warranties All new mobile homes purchased from Cathance Mobile Homes are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Details of the specific warranty for your purchased model will be provided at the time of sale. Extended warranties may also be available for purchase.
